Tab Kids Church
At Tab Kids Church (TKC), we believe children should experience the same growth in their faith and understanding of God’s love in a relevant, age-appropriate way. Every week we aim to inspire children by creating a ‘Fun-Filled Faith’ environment of activities!
TKC is for the children/family members of Tab Church London members. It is expected that whilst children are enjoying Fun Filled Faith activities at TKC, you are enjoying the awesome worship and word in the main house.
TKC have two sessions covering both of the services held at Tab Church London and we currently cater for children aged between 5 and 11 years of age.

Checking In
Check in for the first TKC Session opens at 9am and check in closes at 10.30am. The session runs to the end of the first service at Tab Church London which is approximately 11.30am.
Check in opens for the second TKC session at 12.15pm and check in closes at 1.30pm. The session ends after the service at Tab Church London has finished and we ask that parents and carers collect their children immediately after the service for both sessions.
Our TKC sessions are held at our Tab HQ building, which is around a 2 minute walk from our main Tab site.
Safety
Your child’s safety is our first priority. All TKC volunteers are DBS checked, and we have a member of our security team present at our sessions to ensure your child’s safety. We also use a security tag system for child check-in and pick-up times, and a messaging system for parents/carers in case we need to reach you urgently during service. For more information on our safeguarding policies, please speak to a member of the TKC team.

What time is TKC?
First Session is from 9.15am to 11.30am
Second Session is from 12.15pm to 2.30pm
What curriculum do you use?
Our curriculum is Fun Filled Faith-based which is designed to engage the children while teaching at the same time. Our programming is intended to involve children in age-appropriate activities, interactive learning opportunities and safe, clean fun! We provide teaching in an atmosphere of love and acceptance where children are given opportunities to practice the truths they are learning in ways that make sense to them.
How do I register my child for TKC?

What should my child wear?
Children can come dressed in comfortable clothes. Please bring slippers for your child to wear indoors.
Will my child need a Bible?
No, all of our TKC activities are based on Bible stories and scriptures are shared in various formats during the session. Whilst your child does not need to have a Bible to be able to participate, if he/she should like to, this is perfectly fine.
Does TKC meet year-round?
TKC runs throughout the year with breaks during the Christmas period.
Does my child need to bring anything with them to TKC?
We ask that your child comes with a small, healthy packed lunch. Please label all items with your child’s name. TKC is a totally nut free environment, so please ensure that there are no nuts within your child’s packed lunch.
How Large Are The Classes And Which Ages Do They Encompass?
Class sizes are capped at a maximum of 30 fir our 5 to 8’s and 25 for our 8 to 11’s. Each Sunday, we operate a first come first served policy. Parents who are on serving in ministry on Sunday, are able to check their children in at 9.30am.
Our current age groupings are:

What is your policy on photography?
Photos are periodically taken and used in house to publicise TKC sessions or events. Your consent will be gathered regarding your child being in any photographs taken when you register your child for TKC.
Who Can Volunteer at TKC?
Anyone wishing to serve as a regular volunteer in the TKC Ministry must be a member of The Tab Church and must undergo a Home Office DBS background check prior to serving.
All of the information and results acquired for/from the background checks are confidentially secured by our DBS Team.

Is there a cost?
There is no cost for TKC.
What’s The Procedure For Dropping Off And Picking Up The Children?
We require that parents and guardians check their children into TKC at Tab HQ in person.
Under 18’s are not able to check in or collect a child without prior written consent from the parent.
After church parents should pick up their children immediately after service. Children will not be allowed to leave the building without a parent or designated adult.
What Are Your Security Procedures?
Both you and your child will receive a matching code number, printed on your child’s nametag and on your parent/guardian receipt at the time of check-in on Sunday mornings at the TKC Check In Station. Upon check-out, receipts are monitored to ensure that each child is leaving with his/her appropriate adult.
Parents and other adults who do not have a matching code will not be allowed to leave with their child until their identity has been proven and cleared by the TKC Check in team.
In case of an emergency, we will contact you by calling your mobile. Please ensure your phone is on silent if you are in service, and you are looking out for a possible call.
